Azure Color Band Variations

The different color bands on the Azure keys (Venetian/Palazzo) continue with this one I just received. This is the first gold band version that I've seen.

Harrah's Atlantic City beauty...

It's a very simple design, but I think it's a great looking key. Maybe I'm a little biased in favor of the key since I've been known to play a little poker, but it's nice to see more keys from A.C.

Planet Hollywood Peepshow

On the same visit to Planet Hollywood that landed me the Julien's Auctions keys (see other posting), I obtained a few of the new Peepshow keys featuring Holly Madison. Even better news is that Peepshow plans to feature rotating headliners so we can expect more Peepshow keys in the future.

Planet Hollywood Julien's Auctions

While in Las Vegas for the CC & GTCC annual convention, I picked up this key at Planet Hollywood. News of Michael Jackson's death broke during this same timeframe and at this same auction, several items of his memorabilia were put on the auction block. I'm much happier with the image of Marilyn on this key than I would have been if it had a picture of Michael.

Jimmy's Naughty Nighty Nite 8

Rumors of me being associated in some way with Jimmy's Naughty Nighty Nite at the Palms' are grossly (and unfortunately) exaggerated :)

Trading session

Convention Time!

Whoooooohooooooo! It's finally here! I'm on vacation and getting ready to head out tomorrow morning to Las Vegas. I'm going to try to update this blog from the road using my phone. Hopefully everything will work "as advertised" and I'll be able to post pictures as well.

T Mobile Venetian Convention Key

I'll admit that when it comes to room keys, I'm more than a little partial toward keys from the Venetian. I really like this key in particular -- the coloring is great, I like the landmarks in the "shadows" in the background, and the "Viva Las Vegas" wording is just icing on the cake.

Restaurants of Caesars Palace

Today was like Christmas in May! When this key arrived in the mail, I couldn't have been any more excited.

TI large Mystere key variations

It's always interesting how many subtle variations of a key may exist. At first glance, the three keys seem very similar...then the obvious difference on the top key not having arrows catches your eye. Flip them over and you realize that the mag stripe is on oppostie sides of the wording on the bottom keys. I can't wait to get to the TI section of the illustrated guide to show some of the Social House and Spa variations (and to find out about more that are out there that others have found).

THEhotel Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

This was one of those keys that I thought I might never have in my collection. Despite earlier efforts to obtain the key, I had no luck. Then it turned up on eBay recently and I was lucky enough to win it. I really like the look of the key and it made a rough week much better.

Spa Resort Casino

Last year I planned to make several weekend trips across California to pick up some keys. Things didn't turn out as planned (what else is new?) and I only made it to Chumash and Tachi Palace - the two casinos closest to home. Keys like these from the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs remind me that I really need to make the trips this year.

April 15th can't get here soon enough for me.

Recent Venetian/Palazzo Convention Keys

Thought I'd post this scan of a handful of recent Venetian/Palazzo convention keys. The bottom two do not show the casino name on the key. (This was sure tough to post for some reason -- Blogger just didn't want to show the images in any decent size...and I just didn't have time to fool around with it any longer -- hope it's ok for all readers).
